The Dupuytren University Hospital in Limoges France offers a position for a full-time senior staff physician in the Department of Cardiology, specialized in cardiac pacing and electrophysiology.
The Dept. of Cardiology is composed of 10 senior staff physicians and 4 assistants taking care of patients in 16 CCU beds, 42 cardiology beds and 4 ambulatory (daycare) beds within a new facility (the department moves to a new building in April 2019), with 2 specific EP interventional wards equipped by all modern cartography systems (CARTO 3 and RHYTHMIA) as well as cryotherapy systems. All complex ablation procedures and devices are practiced. The catchment area of the centre is estimated at 800,000 inhabitants. The EP team is composed of 3 full-time specialists, and the position offer is to replace one colleague.
The position is preferably proposed to young cardiologists from EC countries, with background of training and experience in cardiac pacing and EP. Possibility for academic career in the future. The candidate should be fluent in French.
